3 Easy Tricks to be Happy

3-easy-tricks-to-be-happy

I like easy. I believe that you agree with me. Even though I know that easy comes with our perspectives in life. People say, the wisest man the easier to be happy. The worst man the more difficult to be happy.

Here I have thought about 3 easy tricks to be happy. It is easy because you don't need to try harder. Ok, let check this out!

1. Smile no matter what.

Smiling may solve any problem we have. I'll give you example when one of my student's parent was angry with me. He thought that I wasn't fair to treat his child. Though I tried to explain, he didn't want to listen.

So, I only smiled. Then, after complaining, he just went home. Well, I think he just needed someone to listen.

I don't need to overthink about it or blame myself for this problem. Another parent said that sometimes people blaming others for every bad thing in his life. Though, we know that everything happens for a reason. As simple as that.

2. Don't overthink

I used to think that I am not good enough. It happened when I compared my achievement with my other friends.

While I were so busy to check on other people's luck in life, I forgot that I am also a very lucky person.

You know that a few years back, my mam was sick. At the moment, I started to think that simple mind may contribute our happiness and health.

3. Be grateful

My mam has ever told me about her friend. Here is her story. "She was very ill. Doctor said that she must have a surgery. When she waited for her operation procedure, she went home to her family's home in the village. Then, when the time comes, she went to hospital. And, you know that doctor felt surprised to find out that she was as healthy as a horse."

"What happened?" I asked my mam who were busy to chop carrot. I was afraid my mam forget to finish her story. It often happens. I don't know whether she did it on purpose or just flat out forget. I sometimes forget that she is older than me.

Ok, let be back to mam's story.

"When my friend waited for her operation schedule, she stayed at her parent's home in Tanggamus. She ate and drank everything her parents gave her. And, just like any villagers, they are a very simple food. No instant food like noodles, pizza, etc. She often only ate casava."

"So, casava can cure her illness?" I asked my mam impatiently.

"I dunno. Maybe, it's the weather. Maybe it's the food. Or, it can be her feeling and mind." My mam shrugs. It is her clue that the story comes to an end.

Anyway I conclude that being happy is simple. Just be grateful for the simple thing in life. Because sometimes the simple thing we have is often the most precious thing in life.
